John C. Luzaich - General Manager

John grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Robbinsdale High School where he later served on the School Board for six years.  He attended North Park College in Chicago and earned his BA in theatre at the Tisch School of the Arts from New York University. John studied speech with Edith Skinner, mime with Johnny Seitz and Bob Stromberg, dance with Phil Black and Geoffrey Holder, acting with Lee Strasberg, David Garfield, Barbara Covington, David Gideon, Elaine Aiken, Gordon Phillips. John appeared in A Christmas Carol (Guthrie Theater), Godspell (Chicago, New York), Julius Caesar (New York, with Richard Dreyfuss) and numerous shows in Minneapolis, Chicago and New York. John created the role of the White Rabbit in the original production of Alice - A Musical Fantasy with Tony Award winner Donna Murphy and The Washington Square Players in NYC. With CFCT, he appeared in Inspecting Carol, The Wizard of Oz, The Silver Whistle, A Christmas Carol, Murder at the Howard Johnson's, and Uh-Oh Here Comes Christmas. John managed the only Broadway sized Off-Broadway theatre in Manhattan, the Entermedia Theatre, (12th St & 2nd Av) where shows like Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat started prior to Broadway. John has been the General Manager of the Oster Regent more than 14 years and was an investor/producer for the recent 40th anniversary revival of GODSPELL at Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway (next to WICKED).

Julie is the Office Coordinator for the Oster Regent Theatre and the CFCT. She has been with the organization for 16 years. Julie graduated from UNI with her BA in Home Economics. She previously worked in the business department as an accounts receivable accountant at Breck Episcopal Private School in Minneapolis. Her duties included the account billing of over 1000 students. As the office coordinator at CFCT, Julie coordinates many of the theatre volunteers. Responsibilities include taking care of bookkeeping and payroll and preparing income/expense statements. Julie handles outgoing correspondence that includes postcards, newsletters, mailers, season ticket brochures, statements, etc. Julie coordinates ticket reservations and box office sales. She also handles the theatre master schedule, rentals and works with various volunteer crew and production heads. Julie is past co-chair and secretary of Janesville Wildcat Booster Club and past chair of the pastoral council at St. Mary Church in Waverly, Iowa.

Liane was on the original board of directors for the Cedar Falls Community Theatre (CFCT) in 1978. Liane is the Artistic Coordinator for the CFCT and coordinates the selection of plays produced by the theatre. She earned her BA and MA from the University of Northern Iowa and is retired from the Cedar Falls Community Schools where she taught English and Speech, and worked with students in drama. Liane has been the costumer or costume designer on many plays and has worked with multiple directors.  She has written and directed many CFCT Summer Sampler shows, including Buttons, Bows & Broadway and Oscar Musical Mix. Liane has directed many of the hit musicals and holiday plays over the years for CFCT that have included: The Pirates of Penzance, Guys and Dolls, Forever Plaid, The Wizard of Oz, Cheaper By the Dozen, The Homecoming, Man of La Mancha, I Do! I Do!, Singin' in the Rain, Inspecting Carol, Plaid Tidings, Kiss Me Kate, Nuncrackers, The Music Man, Uh Oh - Here Comes Christmas, Cotton Patch Gospel, Another Night Before Christmas and many other plays.
